Qatar Airways (QR) serves 20 million passengers per year to over 125 destinations world-wide and will use its communications platforms to reach the airline’s global passenger base.
The EAC-QR partnership will focus on specific awareness activities such as the following:
- QR is broadcasting thirty (30) second informational videos on the in-flight entertainment screens on QR aircraft on the issue of out of school children (OOSC).
- QR is publishing one (1) full-page article in the airlines Oryx Magazine and on the website.
- An awareness event with Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York was hosted by QR on 16 May 2013.
- QR is matching dollar for dollar contributions collected in envelopes placed in every seat chair back on every flight for 1 year.
